Biography
Silvia Brini received the M.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering from Pisa
University (Italy)
on February 2000, discussing a thesis on "VLSI implementation of
a frequency estimator for
TDMA receivers in Satellite applications". In June 2000 she joined STMicroelectronics
in Grenoble in the VDSL system team in AST (Advanced System Technology:
ST System R&D organization).
At the beginning she worked at the specification of the VDSL DSP-Front
End then she was in charge of the
development of the embedded software algorithms for the modem initialization.
She is currently working on the definition of a new SoC architecture for
the VDSL transceiver.

System level SoC design, Digital Signal Processing, DSL broadband access
technology

Skiing, Surfing, Swimming, Reading but, above all, traveling!
