MPSoC bus
We hired a bus for MPSoC participants that will pick up passengers on Sunday July 10 at the following places:
The bus will be marked "MPSoC".
Bus back to the airport/railway station: departure on Friday 15 July - 14h00.
By car
If you come from Paris on highway A10 follow the directions of Bordeaux/Merignac airport, cross the Aquitaine's bridge, take exit 7 Blanquefort/ Le Verdon. Then take departemental road D2 for 19 km (crossing the villages of Blanquefort, Macau, and Cantenac) until Margaux. Cross the village of Margaux, turn right at the sign "Relais de Margaux", and carry on a 2.5 more kilometres amidst vineyards till you reach the Relais de Margaux.
By plane
Margaux is 35 km by car from the airport of Bordeaux Mérignac.
By Train
It takes 3 hours to come from Paris on the high-speed direct link (TGV-Train à Grande Vitesse) to Bordeaux TGV railway station Saint Jean. Margaux is 35 km by car from Bordeaux railway station.
By Taxi
From Mérignac airport and from Saint Jean train station, Relais de Margaux is a 20-minute drive by taxi (about 50 euros during working hours, 80 euros on Sunday and at night).
Accommodation at the Relais de Margaux amounts to 112,50 EUR/night/person in a shared double room (breakfast incl.) and to 175 EUR /night in a single room (single occupancy, breakfast incl.).
For children between 6 and 12 sharing their parents' bedroom, B&B amounts to 30 EUR/night. For children over 12 sharing their parents' bedroom or for accompanying adults, B&B amounts to 50 euros. There is no charge for children under 6 for B&B.
