Marc Heijligers received his Ph.D. from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 1991 on scheduling techniques for behavioral synthesis. Since 1991, Marc joined Philips Research in the Netherlands, where hehas been working in the field of behavioral synthesis, code analysis techniques, and implementations of application specific ICs, programmable processors, embedded software, and compilation techniques. Currently, Marc is active in the field of wireless smart vision networks.
