Title:
Multi-SRP Architecture for High Performance Computing
Abstract:
This talk presents high-performance multicore architecture and its programming model for Samsung Reconfigurable Processor (SRP). To maximize power efficiency while achieving high performance, it has been studied highly parallel core architecture, memory and interconnection architecture. In addition, OpenCL is used as a multicore programming model. Particularly, OpenCL programming model is translated to the C code which can be mapped onto SRP core in the manner of maximizing the performance using loop coalescing technique. In this presentation, we show how the high computing applications such as volume rendering are realized in multi-SRP prototype board.
