Title:

Lagopus: High-performance SDN Software Switch

Abstract:

Lagopus is an open source high-performance SDN software switch. Lagopus fully comforms to OpenFlow switch specification and realizes over 40Gbps packet processing performance on commodity Intel x86 servers by leveraging the state of the art of multi-core CPUs and network I/O. In this talk, we will show the motivation, target, design, and fundamental evaluation results of Lagopus. Moreover we will also show a deployment example in Interop Tokyo 2016. In the event, we applied Lagopus as a virtual switch for NFV infrastructure.
