Title:

Accelerator Design for Various NOSQL Databases

Abstract:

A mixture of various structured storages (NOSQLs) to take advantages of their structures in addition to conventional relational databases is expected as a key enabler for utilizing Big data. To improve the throughput of these structured storages while reducing their power consumption, we are currently designing FPGA and GPU based accelerators for various structured storages including key-value stores, column-oriented stores, document-oriented stores, and graph databases. In this talk, we will show our FPGA-based accelerator with 10GbE interfaces optimized for key-value and column-oriented stores. We also show a GPU-based accelerator for document and graph databases.
