Embrace future supercomputers for autonomous vehicles
Autonomous cars are rapidly developing, but still the trunk is full of power hungry and heavy supercomputers. This is seeing the move to heterogeneous multicore platforms which pose numerous software partitioning and distribution challenge. Add to this new system behaviors in dynamic scenarios and this is a huge obstacle for software professionals as we seek to reach levels 3, 4, and 5. Multicore systems have to be utilized faster and better than ever before by next generation of technologies in software optimization and automation to help free space in the trunk.
Mr. Sheng has spearheaded the technology development on multicore programming tools at RWTH Aachen University from 2007 to 2013, which later turned into the foundation of Silexica. His early career roots are in the electronic design automation industry. He has a proven record of successful consultation and collaboration with top tier technology companies on multicore design tools. Mr. Sheng is a co-founder of Silexica Software Solutions GmbH in Germany. He served as CTO during 2014-2016. Since 2017, as VP and GM of APAC, he is responsible for all aspects of Silexica sales and operations across the APAC region.
