Peter Poplavko was born in Kiev, Ukraine, on June 16, 1977.
He received the B.Sc. degree from Kiev Polytechnic Institute and
the M. Sc. degree in Information Technology from Eindhoven University
of Technology, The Netherlands in 1998 and 2001 respectively.
Since September he is a Ph.D. student of Eindhoven University with
a topic "On-chip-networks". He participates in a correspondent project
at Philips Research Labs in Eindhoven.
His current research interests include interconnection networks and
communication for System-on-Chips (mapping communication channels of parallel
programs on such networks), and the design technology for embedded
systems in general (modelling/refinement in System C, design
languages, real-time scheduling and resource management, etc.).
