Dr. Yankin Tanurhan is the senior director of Actel Corporation’s applications and IP solutions group, where he leads Actel’s IP portfolio development and application specific integration efforts. Prior to joining Actel he hold senior management positions in system level design area at  Synopsys.  He also served as the director of the department of electronic systems and microsystems of FZI—Forschungszentrum Informatik, and held senior positions at the Institute of Computer Aided Circuit Design and Informatik Forum in Germany, where he lead international hardware/software codesign projects. He has more than 50 publications in refereed magazines and international. Dr. Tanurhan holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rheinisch Westfaellische Technische Hochschule (RWTH) in Aachen, Germany and a Dr. Ing. in Embedded Systems from the University of Karlsruhe in Karlsruhe, Germany.
