Acceleration technology to support the evolution of next-generation MFP
Abstract
In the current MFP, the basic function has reached sufficient performance. To provide added value to next-generation MFPs, KM is considering introducing server functions, and advanced recognition functions by AI. As a result, she will provide integrated management of office IT systems, new solutions to streamline work and operations. This time we are introducing the AI acceleration technology we are working on to realize advanced recognition function.
Biography
Yoshihiko HIROTA is Deputy General Manager of IoT Service Platform Development at Konica Minolta, Inc. Since entering Former Minolta Co., Ltd, he had taken part in the development of MFP for over 30 years. He mainly took part in the development of hardware and controller software which control MFP and the development of their image processing technology. Most recently he is responsible for development of IoT solution business.
