Full-Immersion Entrepreneurship: A Survival Guide for Professors

Abstract

My comments will be based on experiences co-founding and serving as CEO of the Stryd athletic wearable electronics company and subsequently returning to a faculty position. They will be of greatest interest to faculty trying to determine whether close involvement in a technology start-up company is a good match for their interests and skills. The content may also be relevant to those more generally interested in entrepreneurship and commercializing embedded system technologies.
