Title:

Acceleration Technologies in Cloud systems

Abstract:

In this talk, I introduce several acceleration technologies in “Cloud” systems from the view points of ICT business. “Could” systems will be a main stream of ICT systems instead of the conventional ICT systems. However, since some complicated applications could need much CPU power, the conventional “scale out” Could systems require many CPU, much power and much space for servers. Then, to reduce these resources, we have several projects about “scale up” solution instead of “scale out” cloud systems by using acceleration technologies. I will introduce our projects, GPGPU acceleration, FPGA acceleration and many-core acceleration.
