Pushing the Energy-Efficiency Envelope for "Always Alert" Sensor Nodes

Abstract:

IOT is all the rage, but how do we actually deliver on the cost, energy and functional requirements of ubiquitous, wireless, always-on sensors? This talk describes new low-power design methods, new processor architectures, new sensor fusion mechanisms and new application partitioning to usher in a new category of ultra-low-energy smart nodes.
