Title:

Multicore Programming in Applications Ranging From IoT Edge Nodes to the Cloud

Abstract:

Multicore technology has become pervasive in applications ranging from IoT edge nodes up into the cloud and data centers. The simplest IoT edge node device can be viewed as a multicore system, and this presentation will cover how to apply multicore topology design and programming to the IoT edge node. At the other extreme, multicore is an essential ingredient within every data center. This presentation will demonstrate the scalability and efficiency of a multicore SoC implemented in systems performing data analytics, media streaming, and performance-oriented memory caching.
