Abstract
While conventional linear innovation is reaching its limit, Socionext is pursuing Adhocracy innovation as a different direction of technology progress. Adhocracy innovation is a multi-dimensional innovation created with combination of various technologies based on unique ideas/conceptions. In the speech, we will introduce Adhocracy innovation in the imaging technology which is one of the business fields we focus on, including 8K digital TV, ultra low latency CODEC, graphic display controllers for automobile, a free viewpoint video distribution system, and so on.
Biography
Hiroyuki Komori is a fellow of corporate planning office, Socionext. He received Master degree in physics from Tokyo University in 1982. He joined the semiconductor company of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd (now Panasonic Corporation). He was engaged in design and development of digital signal processors, communication LSIs and image processing SoCs. After that, he worked as a general manager of LSI development division, and later was engaged in the corporate and semiconductor strategy as a manager. In 2015 he joined Socionext.
