An Architecture Design for Integrated Traffic Control System

Advancement of automobile and road operation system is progressing. In the past decade, various systems have been built such as the concept of UTMS (Universal Traffic Control System). Although, research and development of advanced control systems for automobiles is in progress, the road monitoring and control systems to be cooperated into ICT has been delayed. This presentation will explain the outline of such an advanced transportation system, and problems between server cloud and gateway edge loads and system robustness.
Biography
Koichiro Yamashita has received the M.E. degrees in computer science from Waseda University, and joined Fujitsu LTD in 1995. He had worked for parallel operating system on the vector-parallel super computing system (VPP series) for 5 years, and moved to electric device group of Fujitsu LTD in 2001. In 2006, he moved to Fujitsu Laboratories. In 2009, he works as manager of mobile phone BU of Fujitsu LTD and research fellow of ubiquitous platform technology labs of Fujitsu Laboratories LTD. concurrently.
