Introduction to AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform and an approach to high-performance-computing
Abstract
With the heat of autonomous driving and everything it drags along, the need of computing in and out of vehicles are sky-rocketing. One of the automotive industry joint efforts is to setup the new standard for the vehicle electronic systems, in the light of autonomous driving. The most powerful, most adapted standard in the area is AUTOSAR, and the new standard is called AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform, as opposed to the AUTOSAR Classic Platform, which is mainly designed for small microcontroller based computing. This short talk will provide the overview of the just recently released AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform specification, and discussions on how high-performance computing can be enabled with it.
