Zenohex: a Pub/Sub based Communication Library from Device to the Cloud
Abstract
Zenoh is a high-performance Publish/Subscribe communication library protocol implemented in Rust. Zenoh has broker-based and broker-less Pub/Sub communications, akin to MQTT and DDS, respectively, but with unique features that enable communication across languages, platforms, and devices. This talk presents Zenohex, that is a client library for functional language Elixir. Since Elixir has superior concurrency and highly throughput, it is suitable to employ as a comprehensive development environment for IoT systems. This talk also shows some demonstration using Zenohex with 5G and Beyond 5G telecommunication system as the profit of our research and development project.
