Title:

The secrets to tomorrow's high performance, low power media subsystems

Abstract:

Next-generation media use cases for low-power devices, from 4K video to immersive 3D gaming, continue to evolve. ARM tracks these areas carefully, and continues to look to apply its IP portfolio of CPUs, GPUs, video engines and display processors, together with fabric interconnect and POP IP, all co-designed, co-verified and co-optimized to produce energy-efficient implementations.
In this session, we will take a look at some of these use cases and present some of the innovations ARM has introduced to reduce memory bandwidth and system power, both in the IP blocks themselves and the interactions between them.
