Biography
Thierry Collette is the Chief Program Officer of Thales CortAIx Labs, Thales’s research laboratory for critical AI, trusted AI and embedded and distributed AI. Before joining Thales in 2019, Thierry Collette headed the technology development division for embedded computing and components at CEA Leti & List for eight years. Expert in AI, HPC and embedded computing, he coordinates cortAIx Labs research programs with the business units to accelerate the introduction of trusted AI functions and new computing solutions in Thales products. Autonomy of drone swarms, generative AI for mission-critical systems, cybersecurity of the AI, open hardware, continuous computing and quantum computing are just a few examples of cortAIx Labs’ programs. Thierry Collette holds an engineering degree in computer science and electrical engineering and a PhD in microelectronics.
