Abstract
The complexity of programming and code distribution for automotive applications will continue to increase dramatically as automotive multicore platforms are moving towards a central supercomputer. In this presentation, we will take a look at use cases such as ADAS and ECU, analyze the challenges of implementing such applications on multicores and demonstrate the level of automation and efficiency that design automation tools need to bring into real world practices from our experience
Biography
Mr. Sheng has spearheaded the technology development on multicore programming tools at RWTH Aachen University from 2007 to 2013, which later turned into the foundation of Silexica. His early career roots are in the electronic design automation industry. He has a proven record of successful consultation and collaboration with top tier technology companies on multicore design tools. Mr. Sheng is a co-founder of Silexica Software Solutions GmbH in Germany. He served as CTO during 2014-2016. Since 2017, as VP and GM of APAC, he is responsible for all aspects of Silexica sales and operations across the APAC region.
