Acceleration technology to support the evolution of next-generation MFP
Abstract
In the current MFP, the basic function has reached sufficient performance. To provide added value to next-generation MFPs, KM is considering introducing server functions, and advanced recognition functions by AI. As a result, she will provide integrated management of office IT systems, new solutions to streamline work and operations. This time we are introducing the AI acceleration technology we are working on to realize advanced recognition function.
Biography
Masahiro Murakami is a senior manager of R&D headquarter at Konica Minolta, Inc. He joined IBM Japan in 1990, where he was engaged in ASIC/SoC design for IBM products and customer products, like PC, videogame, etc. After that he joined Konica Minolta, Inc in 2012, where he has been engaged in managing of controller platform development for MFP.
