Travel information
Known throughout the world as the capital of mountaineering, Chamonix is situated in the French Alps at the foot of the Mont-Blanc, the highest summit in Europe (4807 m). It is close to Switzerland and Italy and can be reached either by train or by car via highway A40 “Autoroute Blanche”. The nearest international airports are Geneva-Cointrin in Switzerland (85 km) and Lyon-Saint-Exupéry in France (235 km).

MPSOC’03 HOTEL RESERVATION FORM (printer friendly)
Accommodation at the Alpina hotel amounts to 70,80  €/night/person in a shared double room and to 92,80  €/night in a single room. Accommodation of accompanying children between 6 & 12 amounts to 20 €/night when sharing their parents’ bedroom.
